PRINCIPAL TEACHER TRAINER & COURSE FACILITATOR

Fran Siebrits (Sundari Lalita Devi)

Sundari Lalita Devi (Fran) has been initiated into the a yoga lineage dating back to the origins of yoga, and has been given the blessing to teach from her Guru in India, at the ashram Yoga Vidya Gurukul. Since her early 20s she has been deepening into a lifestyle of yogic practice, and has been involved in teaching training courses since 2016. She is the owner of Tuning In Wellness, a Registered Yoga School (RYS), and a member of the Yoga Teacher Fellowship (YTF) and International Yoga Federation (IYF), through which she certifies her students for their 200 and 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training, an internationally recognised qualification.

“If we learn to open our hearts, anyone, including the people who drive us crazy, can be our teacher.” ~ Pema Chödrön

Fran’s instructor beginnings found their roots at Ananda Sanga Educational Institute (ASEI) in Somerset West, where she completed her internationally recognised 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification. She further qualified in Pre- and Post-Natal (Pregnancy) Yoga as well as the healing MYYO Technique through ASEI.

Naturally, this lead to travels and training in India. On separate occasions she trained further in the deeper aspects of the bodymind from inspiring teachers at Palpung Sherabling Monastery (Palampur, Himachal Pradesh) and Yoga Vidya Gurukul Ashram (Nashik, Maharashtra) where she completed her 500Hr Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Certification at Yoga Vidya Gurukul. She has also had the honour of meeting His Holiness the Dalai Lama at his residence (Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh).

She has also trained and certified in Budokon Yoga, a strong and powerful practice combining Mixed Martial Arts and yoga movement forms, and Aerology, aerial movement and mindfulness.

She has had the privilege to facilitate and lecture on a number of teacher trainings and courses. However, it is the ‘forever the student’ attitude that motivates her to continue exploring this life long journey of yoga. Fran’s intention is to promote the use of yoga to assist balance and healing.

Her practice, training and teaching style is spiritually based with its roots in Integral and Hatha Vinyasa Yoga. Typically, Integral Yoga classes consist of a carefully selected and intelligently sequenced series of asanas (physical yoga postures), pranayama (breathing techniques) and yoga nidra (deep conscious relaxation and visualisation). Vinyasa (flow) is an important aspect of all classes, building up to a main asana and a calming down thereafter.

With the diverse tool-kit she has acquired over the years, she shapes her teaching to best reach her students. Fran believes that anyone who can breathe can practice yoga: it is for everyone!

TESTIMONIALS

“Fran is a yoga teacher with a wealth of knowledge to share. What I loved most though about her teacher training was how she embodies the integrity and spirit of yoga. It was both an outer and inner journey I can fully recommend.”

~ Penny Patrick, Yoga Teacher Training Course 2017 (Somerset West, South Africa)

“I completed my Yoga Teacher Certificate under the guidance and expertise of Fran. She combines her tremendous expertise across a multitude of teachings to ensure she imparts the highest level of training for her students. I personally loved the way Fran added special “personal touch” elements to classes which made such an impact on me and made the classes so enjoyable both spiritually and professionally.”

~ Karen Burt, Yoga Teacher Training Course 2017 (Somerset West, South Africa)

“Fran has the most tranquil, calming, down-to-earth and grounding energy that resonates with and inspires me so much. She was a significant person who kindled and ignited the beginning of my own journey of Self. It was because of Fran and her Yogic Philosophy that I was able to dedicate myself to my Self – literally giving my self the greatest gift I could ever give …self awareness and a conscious mind. I will always hold my experience of learning with her very very close to my heart. Fran was the pivotal trigger that set off my lifelong journey of enlightenment. And words cannot ever describe adequately enough just how grateful I am to have her in my life!”

~ Kelsey Buchalter, Yoga Teacher Training Course 2016 (Cape Town, South Africa)

“I had the pleasure of having Fran as one of the trainers for my 200hr YTT in June 2016. She was in charge of teaching a bunch of very different people about the spiritual aspects of the Yoga practice and I’m so grateful it was her. Fran brought a very unique, honest and practical view to the teachings and really helped us tap into our own ‘creativity’. I also loved the fact that she is a dedicated runner and brings Yoga to the tight and tired. Yoga for Sports is my passion and it was great to experience yoga with someone who knows how to make it accessible to ‘sportsies’. Fran is an excellent teacher and a genuinely lovely person, enjoy the time you have with her.”

~ Rachel Du Raan, Yoga Teacher Training Course 2016 (Windhoek, Namibia)
